Goals

Ubiquity – Surveillance cameras should be viewable on any and all devices including: TV displays, in-wall touch-panels, iPads, smartphones, and personal computers.

surveillance-ASimplification – Most surveillance camera systems are designed to be used by a security monitoring professional. A great surveillance system should have a simple to use interface that allows a user of any skill level to switch between cameras, single or matrix view, and easily search recorded content.

Total Coverage – Cameras must be strategically placed to cover an entire property, including all entry and exit points to the building. Since cameras are often best used as a deterrent they should be placed in a way to be both present, but at the same time tastefully blend into the décor – being seen by only those who you want to notice them.

Accessibility – Surveillance cameras should be able to be accessed by networked devices within the location, or anywhere else in the world with a network connection.  Additionally, archived camera footage should be accessible and easy to view.

Reliability – Only the most reliable video cameras, DVRs, power supplies, and wiring designs should be used for a camera system. Sometimes problems occure beyond the scope of the installed system and battery backup systems ensure constant coverage despite an outage. Lastly, cameras must be installed so they are tamper-proof – ensuring they are working when most needed.

Execution

System Design – System Design – The surveillance cameras we choose offer the best resolution, brightest image in zero light, and are selected to match the specific area they are intended to cover.  The DVR we specify for our projects offers the most reliable and simple to use software, applications for every connected device imaginable, and easy export of specific video files if needed.  Most importantly we work with expert security consultants to properly place and position all cameras.

surveillance-BInstallation – Beyond choosing the right equipment, a robust system depends on running the right type of cable, strong and solid terminations at both DVR and cameras, and reliable network setup that can handle ‘mission critical’ security video alongside other multimedia data. Cameras are also ruggedly installed so they cannot be tampered with and are meticulously positioned and focused for the best image possible.

Setup – We configure every device you desire (iPhone, iPad, personal computer, etc.) with the necessary applications and settings to view your cameras. We can also set up your network to allow secure, remote access to the cameras from anywhere around the world with the required password.

Benefits

Security – Being able to pick up your phone and see that everything at your house is fine while you are away delivers unmatched peace of mind. One of the strongest signals that a house is well protected is an obvious and professional surveillance system, because the most important aspect of security is deterring break-ins in the first place.  A comprehensive surveillance system also gives onsite security personnel the best tools to monitor and protect your property.

surveillance-CConvenience – A great surveillance system ties into the rest of the home automation system, and allows a simple doorbell ring to bring up the image of the front gate or front door so visitors can be easily and quickly let in. Additionally, surveillance systems work well to monitor infants, deliveries or tradespeople or to just keep an eye on the kids playing in the pool.Digital Record – The worst case scenario involves an actual incident on the property, and in this situation the desired footage can be downloaded to a DVD or USB drive and given to the proper authorities.
