Congratulations to Herbie Hancock for winning Best Album (as well as Best Contemporary Jazz Album) at this year's Grammy awards. This is only the second time a jazz album has ever won, and it's been 43 years.

Herbie Hancock's Signed Studio Speakers for Sale!

Herbie Hancock, a long-time client and friend of Audio High, recently released his penultimate album, Possibilities. It includes collaborative work with John Mayer, Carlos Santana, Angélique Kidjo, Christina Aguilera, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Sting, Joss Stone, Jonny Lang, Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan, Raul Midón, and Trey Anastasio. He used the Tetra 506 Speakers in his studio for the making of this album.

Herbie just upgraded his studio's Tetra 506s to Tetra 606s and has graciously donated his 506 speakers toward our cystic fibrosis benefit. The speakers are signed by Herbie and come with a letter from him stating their use. They also come with a CD of Possibilities, also signed by Herbie. All proceeds go to CFRI, a nonprofit organization that funds cystic fibrosis research. Call or email for details.

Robert Silverman performs Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas

Audio High was very pleased to bring the incredible concert pianist Robert Silverman to the Bay Area for a four-concert series of the entire set of Mozart Piano sonatas in celebration of Mozart's 250th birthday.

Buster Williams / Kenny Barron / Lenny White Concert!

Audio High recently produced a benefit concert in Mountain View to help fund cystic fibrosis research. The concert was a great success and sold out. We are proud to have put on this important event. Check back with us from time to time to learn about other events we are producing or sponsoring.

We are currently producing a CD of this great concert. The CD should be available by April.

A Day with Benny & Wynton

Adrian and Michael took a trip to New York to set up a new system for Wynton Marsalis. Along the way we hung out with Benny Golson, Antonio Ciacca, Wes Anderson, and many other great musicians...  (Read the whole story.) We recently headed back to install a new system for Ron Carter and upgrade Benny's and Wynton's systems.

Electronic Arts Chooses Audio High

Three years ago, EA, the world's largest computer game manufacturer, chose Audio High to calibrate their televisions and computer monitors to SMPTE / ISF specs and guide them through THX certification. Frustrated that previous attempts had failed to make their monitors both meet the specs and look the same, they came to us with this challenge. After our initial project was complete they told us they never thought it could have been done and were thrilled with the results. We now do ongoing calibration work for them.
